How do we make our decisions?

  • We have a rolling application process and internships fill on a first-come, first-served basis.  While applications will be accepted throughout the application period, early submissions will facilitate access to the greatest number of internship opportunities.
  • Once the application window has closed, the IMPACT Internship HR team will divide and organize applications by their fields of interest. An IMPACT Internship representative will reach out to candidates to schedule a preliminary interview with our internal HR team via Zoom.
  • After reviewing each student’s application and interview, the IMPACT Internship HR team will work with our Placement Partners to find available internships that we feel are suitable for each student. If a good match is found between the student’s interests and the Placement Partner’s job description, we will schedule a subsequent interview between the student and the Placement Partner. At this time, the decision to hire the student for an internship will be made by the Placement Partner and not by IMPACT.

When do we make our decisions?

Timing of decisions will vary depending on the Placement Partner, but all positions will be hired and accepted by May 17th, 2020.
